Jej herecká kariéra začala v roku 2002,kde si zahrala Giannu v seriály Barney and friends,kde sa zoznámila aj so svojou naj kamoškou Demi Lovato, ktorá hrala Angelu.Potom dostala rolu vo filmu Spy Kids 3D:Game Over,and Brain Zapped.Po prvý krát sa objavila na konkurze Disney,vtedy sa odstahovala z Texaxu do Californie a stala sa členom Disney Rodiny.Začala sa objavovaťv populárnych seriáloch The suite life of Zac and Cody, Hannah Montana kde si zahrala v dvoch dieloch Mikaylu.Potom sa zúčastnila konkurzu do seriálu Wizard of waverly place-Alex Russo.K jej koníčkom patrí spev, roztlieskávanie a predovšetkým herectvo. A tak sa začala jej sláva v populárnom Disney Chanel.
